Anant Chaturdashi Vrat Katha:

Once there was a Brahmin by the name of Sumant. He had a youthful youngster named Sushila from his wife Diksha. In any case, Sumant wedded another lady named Karkash.

Karkash did not take care of Sumant’s kid Sushila and this hurt the sentiments of the kid. So when Sushila grew up, she married a man named Kaundinya and left from her home.

One day when Sushila was taking bath in the river, she saw some other ladies who were praying to God Anant(Vishu) and requesting his blessings. Sushila also chooses to pray to God Anant(Vishu) and when she did as such, she and her husband were honored with awesome riches and flourishing.

This was the aftereffect of a string that was fixing to the wrist of Sushila, which picked up Lord Anant's blessing for her. In any case, her better half commented one day that they were rich and prosperous not on account of a basic string, and took it off his wife’s wrist and discarded it.

Sushila and Kaundinya wound up noticeably poor as they lost all their riches. This is on the grounds that they weren't honored by Lord Anant any longer. Both Kaundinya and Sushila were very stressed over the welfare of their family.

That is when Kaundinya understood his error and began watching strict repentance to Lord Anant. Following 14 years of committed love, he and Sushila were honored by Lord Anant again and they recaptured their riches and status in the public eye.
