Make easy Kalakand

Kalakand Recipe


Kalakand sweet is just like a rich milk cake. It’s one among the favored desserts in India. Generally, it's ready by boiling and thickening milk with sugar. It takes few hours to prepare the dessert. This easy and instant kalakand recipe calls for just 4 ingredients namely Paneer, Condensed milk, Almonds and cardamom powder which is easily available in our kitchen.

Serves: 10-12 pieces 
Prep time: 8-10 Minutes
Cook time: 15-20 Minutes

INGREDIENTS:

Paneer – 1½ cup
Condensed Milk - 300 ml
Cardamom (Elaichi) powder - 1/2 tsp
Pure ghee - 1 Tsp
Sliced Almonds 8-10 for garnishing (optional)

METHOD:

Step 1
Grate or coarsely Mash the paneer coarsely.

Step 2
Take a Non-stick kadhai or pan and warm the ghee, then add the condensed milk & mix well with warm ghee.

Step 3
Take the paneer & mix it with condensed milk and cook it well.

Step 4
When the mixture became thick and leaves the corner of kadhai, add some Elachi powder in it & remove the mixture from the gas burner.

Step 5
Take a plate & grease it with ghee, then transfer the mixture into it.

Step 6
Put the mixture in the refrigerator to settle down for 1½ hrs.

Step 7
Cut it into the square shape.

Step 8
Garnish with Sliced Almonds and Elaichi powder.

Step 9
Your delicious Kalakand is ready to serve.

Tip:

You can also use the butter paper for transferring the mixture.
