A very simple n easy making of Coconut Barfi.

Coconut Barfi

Coconut Barfi is very tasty and it is also easy in making. There are many sweets made from coconut are available in the market but coconut barfi has a different taste, and then let's make coconut barfi at home.


Coconut Powder (Burada) – 2 cup (grated dry coconut)
Khoya – 1½ cup (250 grams)
Powdered sugar – 1½ cup
Pistachios – 10 to 13
Ghee – 1½ tsp


Step 1
Firstly roast the coconut powder in a pan till the color changes a little bit. And transfer it to another vessel.

Step 2
Fry khoya properly roast until khoya becomes pink. (Barfi will become more delicious and will last for more days). When the ghee starts leaving the sides of the khoya, turn off the burner.

Step 3
Once the khoya becomes slightly cool, add roasted coconut and sugar powder in the pan and mix it thoroughly.

Step 4
Put the mixture on the greased plate and spread it around and add chopped pistachios over it and press it gently with the spatula Keep Barfi to cool down for half an hour to set.

Step 5
Now cut the barfi into square pieces with a knife and serve, Nariyal Ki Burfi is ready.
