• Taking three grams of cinnamon daily, not only does the amount of blood sugar decrease but also increases the hunger.

• Although, cinnamon is very useful & safe.  But it is also found that some people have allergic to cinnamon & taking cinnamon in large quantity may cause skin burning, pimples, mouth sores and so on. Also, keep in mind that those people whose lever is weak should not eat more cinnamon.

If you notice any side effects then stop using cinnamon immediately and call your health-care provider. If you don’t notice any improvement in your diabetes control after several weeks, don’t despair. You can still enjoy the rich, warm flavor of this ancient spice.

In the end, I can say that yes cinnamon helps in diabetics also but I am again repeating if u have suffered from any severe disease, don't eat too much cinnamon without consulting your doctor.
